Since yesterday was one of my favorite flowers here is the other one. When I was a little girl my grandfather picked me a stalk of Lily of the Valley and sang the following song to me when he gaven it to me.
"White coral bells,
Upon a slender stalk
Lily of the Valley
Deck my garden walk.
Oh, don't you wish
That you might hear them ring
That can happen
Only when the fairies sing."
I even have them growing under my bedroom window.
